Lawful conduct
All public-facing work must respect applicable UK law, contractual obligations, safeguarding duties, financial rules and professional standards.
Governance within the Republic of D’Key is records-led, role-aware and designed for continuity. It governs the framework’s own decisions, records and branch relationships; it does not create authority over external people or organisations.
The Republic of D’Key is a private constitutional, civic, cultural and educational framework. It is not a state, government body, public authority, court, regulator, charity or political party. Public-facing activity is voluntary, peaceful, branch-based and subject to appropriate UK legal, financial and professional obligations.
All public-facing work must respect applicable UK law, contractual obligations, safeguarding duties, financial rules and professional standards.
Republic, Civic, Academy, Advanced Studies, Association, internal systems and commercial activity must remain clear in purpose, records, finances and public presentation.
The Republic should publish only what it can evidence, maintain and explain. Grand language is secondary to clean records and measured conduct.
Participation is voluntary. No visitor, partner, member or public body should be treated as subject to Republic authority by default.
Leadership exists to preserve purpose, protect people, prevent confusion and build assets and institutions for future generations.
Pages, records and branch materials should be reviewed periodically and corrected when language, facts or operating arrangements change.
A branch, steward or correspondent identifies a matter requiring decision, record or review.
The matter is assigned to the correct branch and checked against the public Status page, data protection, safeguarding, finance and reputational considerations.
A dated note, decision record, public extract or controlled internal record is created according to sensitivity and publication status.
Only appropriate summaries or extracts are published. Private correspondence, membership data, legal material and sensitive information stay controlled.

| Review and safeguarding | Checks public-facing language, consent, event safety, privacy and reputational risks. | Does not replace regulated professional advice where needed. |
